Mr Jones has also pioneered the introduction of the civil aspects of the Proceeds of Crime Act, appearing for HM Revenue & Customs, Police and Defendants in forfeiture, detention and seizure applications.
Throughout his practice he has continued to advise on personal injury litigation, particularly concentrating on accidents abroad.

He has particular expertise in recent social disorder legislation – sex offender orders, anti-social offender orders, anti-social behaviour orders, football banning orders and evictions of anti-social neighbours. Notably he convicted the first application for a sex offender order against a non-paedophile adult offender severely limiting his contact with any woman. He acts for both applicants and defendants in such cases.
