Nature of Practice

Charlotte practices exclusively in criminal law and undertakes work for both Defence and Prosecution.

Charlotte is a category 3 Prosecutor, having had conduct of the full range of criminal trials. She has vast experience in cases involving sexual allegations, particularly those with child witnesses.

Her defence practice spans a broad spectrum of offences, including white-collar crime. She has particular interest and experience in defending police officers in disciplinary procedings and before the criminal courts.

Charlotte has wide experience conducting cases involving road traffic matters, both before the Magistrates' Court and the appellate courts.

Noteworthy Cases

R v Lowe and Others, (Bradford Crown Court, 2007) - successfully defended a solicitor charged with conspiring fraudulently to obtain title to property.
