Although Clodagh's main area of practice is crime, she also has considerable experience in Family, Civil and Employment cases.
This experience includes representing a mother in care proceedings with a 30-day final hearing, involving a number of medical expert witnesses to issues which include a disputed autism/ fragile- X pre-mutation diagnosis in respect of one of the 3 children in the case and experience in private law children cases and ancillary relief.
Clodagh has represented clients in Personal Injury cases, including Employers' Liability, Occupiers' Liability and Road Traffic cases. Particularly interested in Industrial Diseases cases and experienced in Limitation hearings. She accepts instructions in a wide range of civil work, which has included Professional Negligence and Torts.
In employment cases she has represented both Claimants and Respondents in unfair dismissal, unfair redundancy claims, and also sex and disability discrimination cases.

Clodagh is Experienced in Proceeds of Crime Confiscation Hearings (POCA).
Also has experience of defending at Court-Martial, including having assault charges dismissed at the close of the Crown’s case.
Acted as Disclosure Counsel in a high profile case in Sheffield, which involved considering a large volume of sensitive medical and social services material in a short period of time.
Has attended training in the use of scientific expert evidence.

Reported Crime Cases:
R v Banerjee [2007] EWCA Crim 1680 - Advised, drafted grounds of appeal and appeared for the Appellant at the Court of Appeal. The Appellant’s conviction for a serious offence was quashed as a result of fresh evidence, despite his former legal team having advised that there were no grounds of appeal due to his having pleaded guilty to the offence.
