Hannah was called to the Bar in 2007.
She both defends and prosecutes in a wide variety of cases including sexual assaults, violent offences and offences of dishonesty. Hannah is regularly instructed by Councils in the North West, prosecuting in benefit fraud cases.

Hannah undertakes personal injury litigation work with a particular emphasis on trials, applications and disposal hearings.
Hannah has gained experience in a large number of Crown Court cases involving indecent assault and sexual abuse, with a particular emphasis on cases involving child witnesses. She has also had the opportunity to experience a broad spectrum of criminal work, acting for both the CPS and Defence Solicitors.
In 2010, she was instructed as junior counsel, representing Mr Gaskell, in the case of R v Stephen Kell, Kevin Mighall, Clifford Elliott, David Lloyd, Alan Cooper, Paul Gaskell and Paul Moy (T200897917). This was a Very High Cost Case, running for over four months, which involved allegations of corruption and perverting the course of justice.
Hannah is a Category 2 Prosecutor for the CPS.
Hannah covers all aspects of criminal defence and prosecution in the Magistrates and Crown Courts and has experience in prosecuting on behalf of Local Authorities in respect of benefit fraud.
