Leona exclusively practises in the field of Family Law, appearing at all levels including the House of Lords.

She has an extensive practice over 17 years in the fields of Ancillary Relief and Financial Provision. She has a particular specialism in dealing with complex pension cases, company assets, family businesses, inherited wealth and accountancy evidence. Her cases regularly involve substantial assets.

Whilst her aim is always to ensure that her clients have had their case firmly and skilfully argued, she has also undertaking specialist mediation training, to qualify as a Mediator, such additional skills being particularly useful within the field of Ancillary Relief and at Financial Dispute Resolution or round table conferencing.

As a graduate in Law and Accountancy, she has the benefit of specialist knowledge and training within the field of Accountancy.

She undertakes substantial Public and Private Law cases on behalf of Local Authorities, Guardians, Parents, Relatives and the Official Solicitor.

She is regularly instructed in complex, multi-party cases involving allegations of sexual, physical and emotional abuse within public law, adoption, abduction, emergency interim proceedings, residence and contact cases. She has expertise in cases involving removal of children from the jurisdiction and concerning children and parties from abroad.

Whilst her aim is always to ensure that her clients have had their case firmly and skilfully argued, she has also undertaking specialist mediation training, to qualify as a Mediator, such additional skills being particularly useful within the field of Family Law.

A case involving issues of paternity, parental status and contact and complex medical and psychological evidence and extensive legal analysis and interpretation.
