Commercial

Neil regularly drafts papers and appears at trial in Fast Track and Multi Track Chancery matters.

His experience includes; applications relating to easements; rights of way; rights to light; nuisance; the Party Wall Act; and boundary disputes. 

He also practices in Housing Law, appearing on behalf of landlords and tenants. Experience includes: possession; unlawful eviction; harassment; and Anti Social Behaviour. 

Neil also undertakes Inheritance Act claims and trusts and TOLATA applications. 

Neil also accepts instruction in contractual disputes.
 

Family

Neil frequently appears in the County Court and has appeared in the High Court in Children Act Matters. He is regularly instructed on behalf of parents in public and private children law matters, and has also been instructed by local authorities and for the Guardian. His experience covers: care; adoption; removal from jurisdiction and other international elements; maintenance; and difficult contact disputes.

Neil is also instructed in ancillary relief matters with a particular interest in cohabitation disputes and TOLATA applications. He regularly drafts particulars of claim in TOLATA applications.
 

Personal Injury

Neil has a wide range of experience appearing on behalf of Claimants and Defendants in personal injury claims as well as providing paper advice and pleadings. He accepts work on CFA basis.

Personal injury work undertaken includes: Road Traffic Litigation (including fraud and credit hire); Occupiers Liability; Actions against Highway Authorities; fatal accidents; and Employers Liability.

Neil also accepts instruction in professional negligence claims for both Claimants and Defendants.
