Family

Susan was admitted as a solicitor in 1984 and practised in Chester and Liverpool. As a solicitor she represented the husband in Crozier v Crozier [1994 1FLR 126] and subsequently was in the vanguard of cases challenging the workings of the Child Support Act 1993. Following election to the Solicitors Family Law Association (now Resolution) she was involved in ministerial level discussions to help shape the reformed Child Support Act. At the Bar Susan continues to act in CSA cases at Tribunal, Commissioner and Court of Appeal level.

Susan's main specialism is Ancillary Relief she brings her many years of experience as a solicitor to her practice and is valued by solicitors for her client care and negotiating skills. She regularly receives instruction in complex cases where the assets are substantial, involve company valuations, pension sharing, family business and the relevance of inheritance.
